Mufti Day - 17 June 2022

It’s just three weeks to go until the BPSP Summer Fair (Friday 17 June)!

Mrs Rusling has sportingly agreed to let the children have a mufti day on Friday 17 June, in return for donations for the Summer Fair. We would be very grateful for the following donations, which should be brought to the sports hall on the day of the event.

  • Year 3: home-made cakes for the cake stall (cake boxes will be sent home in book bags after half term).
  • Year 4: wrapped gift suitable for the children’s lucky dip stall.
  • Year 5 and Year 6: bottle of something for the bottle tombola (it doesn’t have to be alcohol).

Remember, all items must be nut-free/sesame-free.

We would also appreciate donations for the pre-loved uniform stall (V-neck and PE jumpers, cardigans, fleeces, BPSP t-shirts and summer dresses – no grey shorts, trousers, skirts or dresses as we already have plenty!). Please donate pre-loved uniform to the school office by Friday 10 June.

After two years without a Summer Fair, this year’s event is sure to feel very special – but it can only happen with the help of many, many volunteers. If you have already signed-up to help, thank you! There are still lots of volunteer slots to fill, so if you can help before, during or after the event, please sign-up to volunteer at:

Also, look out for the Summer Fair raffle tickets coming home in book bags this week – and please sell, sell, sell!  There are fabulous prizes to be won, including a Harry Potter West End Weekend; a two-night hotel stay; and an Occulus Quest VR headset!

Thank you for all your help and support – we look forward seeing you at the Summer Fair!
