  • Breakfast Club runs during term time Monday-Friday 7.45am-8.45am
  • After School Club runs during term time Monday-Friday, 3.20pm-6.00pm.
  • The After-School Club CLOSES at 6.00pm. There is no facility for an extension to this time.


Costs and Capacity
The club is open to all children from all year groups and there are 30 available spaces in each session daily.

  • Breakfast Club session from 7.45-8.45am costs £5.00
  • After School Club session from 3.20-6.00pm costs £13.00 and includes a light supper



  • Both clubs will operate in the Maidment Hall which is situated in the main school building however activities may take place in other parts of the school.


Activities/Provision and Aims

  • A range of activities are planned for each session for the children in both Breakfast and After School Club. These may include role-play, creative play, reading, cooking, computers/iPads, learning and discovery, outdoor activities, movies as well as an opportunity to complete homework if requested by the parent/carer.
  • The age of the children attending the clubs are taken into consideration when planning activities to ensure they are appropriate.
  • Our club’s aim is to provide opportunities for fun, enjoyment and learning through a range of activities.
  • Our clubs encourage children to develop friendships between age groups and work together cooperatively.


Registration and Booking Procedures

  • You can prepay on SCOPAY and then book for both morning and afternoon sessions.
  • All spaces are subject to availability and will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
  • You will still need to pay for ‘booked’ sessions even if your child cannot attend (This includes sickness, playdates, medical appointments, term time holidays or alternative arrangements being made on an ad-hoc basis). We still have to pay for staffing and the other associated costs of running the clubs even if your child does not attend.
  • There is no reduction in price for the 3.20-6.00pm After School Club session (£13.00) even if your child attends another club after school (eg football) from 3.20-4.30pm.
  • Bookings are currently non-transferable.



  • Fees must be paid in full, in advance before any sessions can be allocated to your account.
  • We cannot accept cash or cheque payments and BACS payments must be paid through the school’s online payment system SCOPAY. The school office will provide you with a log-in for this facility, if required.
  • Payment can also be made via the Government Tax Free Childcare Scheme (subject to eligibility criteria). In order to use this method of payment, you will need to register with HRMC and set up a personal account. HRMC will then process your payment and pay the school directly.
  • Payment can also be made using Childcare Vouchers through your employer. Baden Powell & St Peters Junior School needs to be registered with your voucher provider in order for you to be able make voucher payments to us. Your Childcare Voucher provider will pay the school directly.
  • We are in the process of registering with several voucher providers which are listed in the following table, once registered the Baden Powell Account Number will be shown below (this will be needed in order for you to set up payments to us).
  • You will not be charged for sessions that fall on Inset days, Bank holidays or during School holidays, these days will not be accessible on SCOPAY and will be ‘X’ out. If the school makes the decision to close for any reason e.g. adverse weather, a problem with heating or water services then you will not be charged for sessions that fall on those days.
  • If a session has not been paid for, in advance, the child will not be able to stay and a member of staff will contact you to arrange immediate collection.
  • If a parent/carer is experiencing difficulty with payment of their fees, they should contact a member of the senior leadership team as soon as possible.

Arrival and Collection

  • Drop off and collection will be outside the main entrance.
  • Kids Haven signage and doorbell will now be situated external to the front office foyer.
  • In inclement weather, parents and their children will be permitted to wait in the office foyer.
  • As per normal school regulations, parents will not be permitted into the school building unless by prior appointment.
  • A register of children who attend the clubs will be taken at the start of each session
