At Baden-Powell and St. Peter’s Church of England Junior School, we strive to achieve our very best, so that we may flourish and grow, in a vibrant community of learning with Christ at the centre of all that we do.  Our theological vision is drawn from the Book of Colossians in the Old Testament. The words, “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart” was written by St. Paul, providing guidance on how to live purposefully for Christ and for others. Living well and becoming the best version of ourselves are deeply connected to our attitudes and relationships – with one another, with ourselves and with God.

Our core values of Aspiration, Compassion, Friendship, Respect and Resilience form the foundation of our school ethos and give us a clear sense of purpose.  By embracing and living out these values, we bring our vision to live, striving to create an environment where each individual can thrive.  

We take immense pride in our school, which is highly regarded by the community it serves. We are deeply committed to fostering an environment where every child is valued and celebrated. We believe each child is a unique gift within God’s creation, and we endeavour to see and nurture the extraordinary potential in every individual.  Being a large school we are fortunate to offer a rich variety of opportunities and experiences that allow our children to flourish. Above all, our school is a happy place, with its success underpinned by the strong, positive relationships that exist between all members of our school community—adults and children alike.
