    General Data Protection Regulation

Coastal Learning Partnership takes data protection very seriously. During the course of our many activities we process parent and pupil data (which may be held on paper, electronically, or otherwise) and we recognise the need to treat it in an appropriate and lawful manner, in accordance with legislation. We use our Privacy Notices and Data Protection Policy to explain how we do this and these can be found on the Coastal Learning Partnership website (here).  Our Data Protection Officer is Sue Grey, and you can contact her by emailing DPO@coastalpartnership.co.uk

    Equalities

At Baden-Powell and St. Peter's CE Junior School, we are committed to promoting equality, challenging discrimination, and creating an inclusive environment for all pupils, staff, parents, and visitors. We aim to ensure that everyone in our school community is treated fairly and respectfully, and that our policies, practices, and culture actively support equality of opportunity.

In line with the Equality Act 2010 and the Public Sector Equality Duty, we have due regard for the need to:

    • Eliminate discrimination, harassment and victimisation
    • Advance equality of opportunity between people who share a protected characteristic and those who do not
    • Foster good relations across all characteristics, promoting understanding and respect

As required, we publish information annually showing how our school is meeting these aims and the steps we are taking to ensure fairness and inclusion for all.

To find out more, please see our policies page (above) where you can find policies such as:

    • Accessibility Plan
    • Public Sector Duty Policy

    Monitoring and Review

We review our equality information annually, and our equality objectives every four years, publishing updates on this page in line with statutory requirements.

If you would like this information in paper form, it can be provided free of charge on request.
